Plus, Nadia Comaneci went on to earn six more perfect tens in order to become one of the youngest Olympic Gold medalist. Nadia Comaneci not only attracted attention, she helped Romania become a household name. This sporting legend was a worldwide sensation after she came up with an unbeatable performance. She created a legend, and helped popularize gymnastics across the world. The public's opinion of female sportspeople was changed by this feat.
